Charlie's College Basketball BlogPrice: Torn ACLThe Boston Globe is reporting that Connecticut point guard and leading scorer A.J. Price has a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
Price suffered the injury when he landed awkwardly after a layup attempt with 9:39 remaining in the first half of UConn's opening-round loss to San Diego on Friday. He'll have surgery later this week, and after six months of rehab should be able to play at the start of next season.
