Charlie ZegersCharlie was a promising power forward... in seventh grade. But he never grew beyond six-foot-one or developed that left hand, and his dreams of playing for Louie Carnesecca's Redmen withered on the vine. As so often happens, he turned his attention to writing about hoops. Experience:Charlie is a freelance sportswriter who has covered pro and college basketball for RotoWire.com and fantasy basketball for NBA.com, Yahoo!, Fox Sports and other websites, and in print for the RotoWire and NBA fantasy preview magazines. He's also the author of "Three Seconds" -- three-seconds.blogspot.com -- a basketball blog, and a regular guest on the RotoWire Fantasy Sports Hour on XM Radio. In a previous life, he was sports editor for AOL's "Digital City New York" site. From Charlie Zegers:My cousin was a student at St. John's University during the glory days of Louie Carnesecca, Chris Mullin, Mark Jackson and Walter Berry. Those Johnnies -- and their hated rivals, Patrick Ewing and John Thompson and the Georgetown Hoyas -- were my introduction to college hoops. I love the game, I love the atmosphere. I love the passion of the fans, and the fact that the Internet allows fans to connect with each other. And I love the tournament, which is easily the best, most compelling championship in the entire world of sports. I'm no Walter Berry, but I hope this site will serve as your introduction.
